Since Friday (31.03.2017) some users reported, that our Cloud is unavailable from some german internet providers. If you face similar issues, you can access your data at a different url: cloud2.systemli.org.
During the last year systemli.org has grown a lot. We see this as a sign of trust in our collective. But also as a growing need for services focused on privacy. This is a spur to us, but implies growing responsibility. Luckily, there was also growth in our collective. Therefore, this responsibility can be divided between more shoulders. We’re looking forward to work with and for you in 2017 towards a progressive future.
Call off everything! The friendly tech collective is going to format your hard drive with bass, $waaag and digital charm. We open encrypted hearts with love.
We will shut down our old owncloud instance cloud.tem.li with immediate effect.
If you haven’t made your data migration yet, you have to contact us.
So it´s Easter and we want to give all of our mail users an individual ownCloud account.
With the provision of an own ownCloud instance, we want to offer you the usage of a cloud with all its advantages without losing your privacy. ownCloud is a software that makes it possible to file, save and share any form of data.
Dear friends,
for more than ten years we´ve been running systemli.org. In the last couple of years, due to the Snowden disclosures, the unacceptable state regarding the treatment of refugees and the gathering strength of authoritarian movements in and around Europe, the interest in our services has been increasing constantly. We are very happy about that, although it leads to a huge amount of necessary working hours to keep systemli.org running and for your requests to be answered.
The Jabber-Server of Systemli.org is maybe one of the favored ones in Germany. Especially since jabber.ccc.de has closed its registration, the number of daily registrations increased.
During the last days our friends of immerda.ch discovered a man-in-the-middle-attack on jabber users who connect to their favoured jabber server through Tor.
